Our museum is located in Giuseppe’s historic garage and includes photographs dating from 1906 to the 1950s, and covers the history of Italian immigration, the early formation of Folsom, major events in local and national history, all the way to the 1950s. Our museum provides a video tour of the inside of the house, including closed captions for the hearing impaired. We also have audio tours of the museum for the visually impaired. The historic house is being furnished now for tours, giving visitors an idea of what homes in the 1920s provided in the way of convenience. The house is not ADA accessible.
Note: During winter, inclement weather will result in tours ending at noon. During summer, if daytime highs are forecast to be above 100 degrees, tours will end at noon.
