The City of Folsom is celebrating its 75th anniversary! The occasion marks a special opportunity to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future. The city is proud to celebrate Folsom’s history, community, businesses, culture, public services, and vision.

You’re invited to take part in the celebration!

  • Take a visual tour through the City of Folsom history map to see the evolution from a gold mining and railroad town to the vibrant city we enjoy today.
  • Join your friends, neighbors, and community to create a community photo mosaic commemorating the City of Folsom’s 75th anniversary. The photos will be combined into one united image of the community.
  • Download our free printable 75th anniversary scavenger hunt and explore Folsom’s great outdoors.
  • Pick up a free commemorative poster and pin at Folsom City Hall, 50 Natoma Street (while supplies last).
  • Download 75th anniversary Zoom backgrounds and social media graphics.
  • Submit your favorite Folsom-inspired songs and check out the 75th Anniversary playlist.

Giant Inflatable Obstacle Courses @ Steve Miklos Aquatic Center Tickets

The giant floating obstacle courses return to the aquatic center Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. starting July 3. Wristbands to play on the giant inflatables are $3/person, per day.

Recreation swim takes place daily from 1 to 5 p.m. through Monday, September 6. Guests will enjoy the aquatic center’s colorful new interactive play structure, the two-story water slide, a poolside basketball hoop, 10 dedicated lanes for lap swimming, free-swim in the 50-meter pool (4.5-foot depth section), two diving boards, and the Poolside Café. The aquatic center’s trained lifeguard staff are always on duty during recreation swim.

National Night Out @ Various Neighborhoods in Folsom Tickets

The Folsom Police Department is excited to visit neighborhood events for National Night Out! National Night Out is Tuesday, August 3. The Folsom Police Department, along with Folsom Fire Department, and other city officials would like to celebrate our community at neighborhood National Night Out events. National Night Out takes place annually in communities around the country. The events focus on building partnerships between the community and public safety.
