The 14th Annual Sacramento Horror Film Festival, hosted by Bloody Bethy, & The 7th Annual Love Horror Short Film Festival, hosted by Sindie Chopper, team up to bring you the best in independent blood soaked celluloid with curated selections from across the globe!
In addition to over 60 horror short and feature films, 6 short film blocks, 4 feature film blocks, & you’ll witness horror-inspired performance (featuring burlesque, slam poetry, side show, contortion, & more!) art filmed directly from the stage of the Historic Colonial Theatre- home of the Sacramento Horror Film Festival & Love Horror Short Film Festival.

Learn to Spin Wrenches Like a Pro
If bike repair was rocket science, our tech clinics would be classified. Luckily, it’s much easier than you may think, and with a little instruction, anyone can learn the basics. Mike’s Bikes is here to teach you how to fix, maintain, and improve your bike – every week, for free! Clinics are held in Folsom on Tuesday nights from 5pm-6pm. The schedule of topics is below. Come on out and learn to wrench like a pro, from the pros!
1st Tuesday: Roadside Basics
Flat fix; derailleur adjustment; broken chain fix; broken spoke mitigation
2nd Tuesday: Basic Home Maintenance
Safety inspection; cleaning & lubrication; proper tire pressure; brake and headset adjustment
3rd Tuesday: Drivetrain Class
Shifting principles; cable & housing maintenance; derailleur adjustment; chain inspection & installation
4th Tuesday: All About Wheels
Wheel essentials; hub inspection & adjustment; spoke tension; cassette inspection & replacement
5th Tuesday (calendar permitting): Open Session

Note: Bringing your bike and relevant tools to our clinics is encouraged but not required.

Sutter Street will close to motorists to allow restaurants and merchants in the Historic District to expand and welcome more diners and shoppers outdoors in Historic Folsom.
Sutter Street will stay closed all day on Monday, Sept 7th in observance of Labor Day!
The road closure will take place every Friday at 2pm until Monday morning at 7am until the Covid 19 restrictions for indoor dining are lifted.
The Sutter Street closure will create a walkable outdoor shopping and extended dining area for pedestrians only. Sutter Street will feature spacious seating and ambient lighting.
The closures are intended to help Historic District merchants and restaurants that have faced hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic and have a limited capacity within their proprieties to accommodate diners and customers safely with social distancing.
Sutter Street Closures
- 600 Block, from Scott Street to Riley Street
- 700 Block, from Riley Street to Wool Street
- 800 Block, from Wool Street to Decatur Street

-Limit of 20 racers per category
-No spectators allowed. We will have a limited number of volunteer slots for those interested in helping out.
-Face coverings are required until 30 seconds before your race start. Yes, this includes pre-riding. In other words, unless you’re racing, mask up!
